The Gospel of Hockey doubles down on local womens programs, as Penn State assistant coach Casey McCullion joins Matt Gajtka and Larry Snyder for this midweek episode. Just like the mens team, the PSU women are in their first Division I season, playing in the College Hockey America conference. Matt and Larry ask McCullion, who specializes in goaltending, how the program is coming together in Happy Valley. What have been some of the challenges of building a team from the ground up? How has goaltending changed since she started playing the position? How does McCullion use her playing experience at Holy Cross to advise the student-athletes currently under her watch?
