Jerry Davis has been associated with Blue Sky Studios since production began on the original ICE AGE in 1999, working alongside Chris Wedge on ICE AGE, ROBOTS, and now EPIC. At Blue Sky Davis was supervised the original ICE AGE, prooduced the hit ROBOTS in 2005. He later served as Chief Creative Officer for Starz Animation, overseeing animation studios in Los Angeles, Vancouver and Toronto, and serving as Executive Producer on EVERYONE'S HERO and SPACE CHIMPS, both of which were released by Twentieth Century Fox. He returned to Blue Sky Studios in 2010. EPIC is the fourth picture he has produced for FOX. Davis first entered the world of animation at Walt Disney Studios in 1992 as the production executive on Disney/Pixar's TOY STORY. Recruited to jump-start development for Warner Bros.' nascent feature animation division, began his long association with Blue Sky Studios. For Landmark Entertainment Group he supervised the Broadway production TRU, starring Robert Morse. In 2011 Davis co-authored (with his wife Katie Davis) his first children's book, LITTLE CHICKEN'S BIG DAY (Simon & Schuster/McElderry 2011). Davis, a graduate of Vassar College, has served on the Advisory Board and is a member of the Producers Guild of America.
