Stetson University hosted the first of two community forums to discuss issues that have arisen in the aftermath of the recent school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn. The first forum focused on Safety at Schools and Campuses and was held Monday, March 11, on Stetson's campus. Panelists included: James Ramsay, Ph.D., Chair of the Homeland Security Department, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Candace Lankford, Vice Chairman, Volusia County School Board Bob Lambert, Lieutenant, Volusia County Sheriffs Office Robert Matusick, Director of Public Safety, Stetson University In this show, Wendy B. Libby, president of Stetson University, is introducing the subject matter and the speakers. Additional speakers will appear in future shows.
